Music by Caterina Assandra, Bianca Maria Meda, Barbara Strozzi, Isabella Leonarda and Antonia Bembo.
This exciting program offers the unique opportunity to hear the talent of these women composers through a full range of ardent emotions they depict in their music.
The program includes motets by nun composers, Assandra and Meda, trio sonatas by Leonarda, arias by Strozzi and excerpts from the opera Ercole amante by Antonia Bembo.
